“Where do I start to write what a great service Bacon by the Box give. We live in France and have spent many years living high in the Pyrenees. One of the highlights was to receive our wonderfully fresh meats and cheeses delivered to our door. We now live further north and have continued to order our meat from this superb company. Recently our order went missing. I must stress through no fault of Bacon in a Box. I spoke with our local agent John who we have dealt with for some years and he sorted everything out with Head office. Absolutely seamless care and attention. Package dually arrived fresh and as always wonderful quality. Today, in Provence, we had to defrost the freezer. I found a box of Cooked turkey, hidden from last Christmas. So, without any doubt, it was superb. With pasta and the gravy/ jus.

I'm just writing to say how much your delivery has cheered up a rainy day, on which the car has broken down and my wife has been away in England on family business.
I fell upon my parcel like the proverbial Assyrian (to mix a metaphor) and enjoyed my first bacon baguette in months. Even the dog, missing his mistress, was cheered up as he munched on bacon rind from my plate.
We may have Foie Gras in the larder (from our Christmas hamper) but it is no match for your bacon and sausage. So if anyone should ask what you do for a living, you can tell them that you are a mental health specialist supporting the emotional well-being of the ex-pat community - I only wish your products were available on prescription!

WOW!!! Everyone is extremely happy with all that was ordered. Sirloin steak, succulent, tasty. Cheese, yummy. Bacon, tasty and no water. Gammon steaks, humungous, tasty. Cream, so good to have proper cream back in my life. Black pudding, so yummy. Basically we will be back for more in the near future.

Ordered some lamb chops and a Leg of Lamb also. First time I’ve had lamb in France, for 14 years, because I cannot stand the smell of mutton cooking. Lesson to be learned - order more than you think you’ll need as they are gorgeous.

As my name suggests, I doubted whether quality fresh meat could be brought here at the price! But I was proved wrong, admit it, and am happy to tell that as a further recommendation for bacon by the box. I had heard/read the rumours on things like Angloinfo about price, quality, transport, etc, etc. (what a 'sad world' we live in some times) but what a load of codswallop. Best quality gammon I have had in years, great value and delivered in a proper fridge van! Keep it up John and keep proving the doubters wrong!
