Made from gluten free and wheat free ingredients, our Tritamyl products are specially designed for those who are on gluten free and wheat free diets.
We have three products in the range: Our general purpose self raising Tritamyl flour and our two specially formulated Tritamyl bread mixes for white and brown bread.
Using Odlums Tritamyl range, a gluten free and wheat free diet can still be varied and interesting. Tritamyl flour and bread mixes can be used to produce a wide range of baked products, both sweet and savoury. They are ideal for cakes, breads, biscuits, pizzas, quiches etc. but you must ensure that additional ingredients are also gluten free and wheat free.

Our Gluten Free Brown Bread


Ingredients
400g / 14oz Tritamyl brown bread mix
400ml / 14fl oz water
15ml / 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Lightly greased 900g/2lb Loaf Tin

Top Tip…
For variety add gluten free seeds or dried fruit

To Make
Preheat oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas 6.
Put 400g/14oz of brown bread mix into a mixing bowl.
Add water and oil and mix to a smooth batter.
Pour batter into prepared tin. Smooth the top with a wet spoon.
Make a deep cut lengthwise along centre.
Place tin immediately in the centre of the oven and bake for 40-45 minutes.
Remove from tin when baked and leave to cool on a wire tray.

As baking characteristics of fan ovens vary, always check your manufacturer’s guidelines.
